India में Intel Chips बनाएगी Tata Electronics, Strategic Alliance से Semiconductor Ecosystem को बड़ी मजबूती
India तेजी से global semiconductor hub बनने की दिशा में आगे बढ़ रहा है। इसी प्रयास में Tata Electronics अब Intel के chips और laptops India में manufacture और package करेगी। यह काम Gujarat और Assam में बन रही नई facilities में होगा। इस collaboration का लक्ष्य India के domestic semiconductor ecosystem को मजबूत बनाना और import dependence कम करना है।
8 December 2025 को Mumbai में Tata Group और Intel Corporation ने एक Strategic Alliance की घोषणा की। दोनों कंपनियों ने Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इसके तहत semiconductor manufacturing, advanced systems packaging और India के AI compute market को expand करने पर काम किया जाएगा। इससे India में geo-resilient और trusted supply chain तैयार होगी।
Tata Electronics लगभग $14 billion का investment अपनी semiconductor capacity पर कर रहा है। अब Intel products का manufacturing और packaging भी यही होगा। Assam की chip-testing facility अगले साल की दूसरी तिमाही से operations शुरू करेगी। Gujarat की fab facility 2027 से full chip production शुरू करेगी। इन units में Intel की AI-powered laptop chips और advanced chip-packaging technologies पर खास ध्यान रहेगा।
Collaboration का एक बड़ा उद्देश्य India में AI PC adoption को तेजी से बढ़ाना है। India 2030 तक world’s top five AI PC markets में शामिल हो सकता है। Intel के AI compute reference designs और Tata Electronics की strong Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) capability मिलकर इस growth को support करेंगी।
Tata Sons के Chairman N. Chandrasekaran ने कहा कि Tata Group India में मजबूत semiconductor industry बनाने के लिए committed है। Intel के साथ यह alliance उस दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम है और इससे next-generation AI opportunities capture की जा सकेंगी।
Intel Corporation के CEO Lip-Bu Tan ने कहा कि India दुनिया के सबसे तेजी से growing compute markets में शामिल है। बढ़ती PC demand और AI adoption इस partnership को और महत्वपूर्ण बनाती है। Intel और Tata मिलकर India और global customers के लिए अधिक गति और value लाएंगे।
Tata Electronics के CEO और MD Dr. Randhir Thakur ने कहा कि यह MoU कंपनी के EMS, OSAT और Semiconductor Fab roadmap के अनुकूल है। इससे cost competitiveness, faster time-to-market और operational agility बढ़ेगी और Intel products India में बढ़ती demand को बेहतर तरीके से serve कर पाएंगे।
Industry experts के अनुसार, यह partnership India को assembly से आगे बढ़ाकर high-value semiconductor manufacturing की दिशा में ले जा रही है। Global advanced chip-packaging industry 2032 तक $120 billion तक पहुंच सकती है, जिसका लाभ India उठा सकता है। Tata Electronics अब 70,000 से अधिक लोगों को रोजगार देता है और Tata Group की sixth-largest कंपनी बन चुका है।
यह alliance India के लिए semiconductor supply chain में एक बड़ा बदलाव लाएगा और future AI और electronics innovation में India को मजबूत global player बनाएगा।
